ACD hydrogen cyanide calibration gasHydrogen cyanide gas is a very commonly used toxic gas that can be found in many applications, most commonly in plating and coating and the chemical industry. If you have hydrogen cyanide gas at your facility and there is a possibility that people could be exposed to that gas, you are required to have sensors in the area of your facility where the HCN is stored. To ensure that your sensors are operating correctly, they must be calibrated periodically.

ACD calibration gas instruments are the best method to calibrate your fixed or portable HCN gas detectors. Listed below are the different products we offer, to allow you to choose the type of instrument that suits your application best.

GENie EC Calibration Gas Instrument

ACD is proud to introduce the GENie EC our newest electrochemical gas instrument. The GENie EC output can be adjusted down in order to accommodate the calibration of the low level leak checking instrumentation currently on the market. The GENie EC has been designed intrinsically safe and its compact design makes it our most user friendly instrument. The easy to read LCD also leads to ease of operation. The long lasting electrochemical generating sources provide the user with the equivalent of up to 100 cylinders worth of accurate calibration gas, making the GENie EC the smart choice for calibration of all gas detection equipment.

ACD Cal 101 Chlorine Calibration Gas Instrument

CAL 101 Calibration Gas Instrument

The CAL 101 gas instrument is the entry level pricing instrument for users who have HCN gas and don't have a large number of sensors. The instrument and source come complete and ready to calibrate your sensors for a very low price. The electrochemical generating source is interchangeable and provides multiple gas and concentration options quickly, safely and easily. The generating sources will last for two hours of calibration time or about 25 calibrations. The replacement generating sources are very economical and provide an additional two hours of use each.

CAL 101 Bump Station Calibration Gas Instrument

MiniBump Calibration Gas Bump Tester

The CAL 101 Bump and the MiniBump are instruments that simply emit a small amount of HCN gas in order to functionally test a sensor. They are not instruments. The MiniBump is certified intrinsically safe and lasts for 1000 bumps. The CAL 101 Bump is designed intrinsically safe but is not certified and provides 350 bumps. Both units can be used to functionally test HCN sensors.

The CAL 2000LT is similar to the CAL 101 in that the electrochemical generating source is interchangeable and provides multiple gas and concentration options quickly, safely and easily. The generating sources last for either 10 or 25 hours of use. The CAL 2000LT utilizes mass flow feedback and source monitoring to provide our highest level of accuracy.

The CAL 2000LT has ATEX certification and is certified as INTRINSICALLY SAFE by CSA.

ACD Cal 2000 Chlorine Calibration Gas Instrument

CAL 2000 Calibration Gas Instrument

The CAL 2000 instrument is our top of the line instrument. The generating sources last for either 50 or 100 hours. The flow rate and output can be adjusted easily by the end user, allowing for calibration of many different types and brands of sensor.
The CAL 2000 is available for HCN and also offers a micro-range source for H2S. The range of this source is .05 to 1.0 PPM. This source is used to calibrate very low range HCN sensors.

The CAL 2000 has ATEX certification and is certified as INTRINSICALLY SAFE by CSA.
