On-demand sources are designed to ship and store without that same hazard classification, reducing risk for everyone handling the package — from the shipping carrier to the technician storing it on-site.

This shift — from disposable, pressurized cylinders to on-demand generation — is playing out across the broader gas detection industry, with portable on-demand generators the fastest-growing segment of the calibration gas market.
