Ammonia gas is a very commonly used toxic gas found in many applications, most commonly the cold storage, petrochemical, wastewater, and chemical industries. If you have ammonia gas at your facility, and there is a possibility that people could be exposed to that gas, you are required to have gas monitors in the area of your facility where the NH3 is stored.
